anyone find a cheap tix to Merida, Mexico lately?

i have a friend getting married in november, but all of the tix are at least $600+. I really can’t afford such a pricey flight right now, esp. when you add the hotel and meals etc… if you have any ideas, i’d really appreciate it. do you know if this is high season for them? and also do you think prices will go down or up as the time gets closer? thanks for all you help!

i’m afraid based on the given information nobody will be able to help you since the place of departure isn’t mentioned.in general i would recommend to look for flights to cancun and take a ADO bus from there.it will take you about 4 hours to go to merida but it should safe you quite some money.on tickets to cancun you should be able to find a good deal.check out SPIRIT and ALASKA airlines and go to travelocity.com…but again: everything depends on where you fly from.
