I have seen that house and here is my short review of it:
When you see Casa Merida from the outside, you would probably be thinking to yourself: “Here’s another lovely façade.” And although you will be right, the real magic really begins once you open the door.
The first time I had opened that door I said “Wow!” You – I bet – would do the same.
Casa Merida is a newly renovated house located in El Centro – The Historic Center of Old Merida. This luxurious house is an ideal place for those who visit this charming city looking for a tranquil, private home-away-from-home, experience.
This two story gem is totally furnished and comes with two bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large living areas, patio, terrace, a large pool, huge Jacuzzi, High Speed Wireless Internet + an In-House Computer, cable TV, A/C, DVD and a bunch more…
Whom is it for? Here is what they say on their site:

At a 50% off their regular price you will be paying, if you are lucky enough to get it, you will end up paying for a whole luxury vacation home the price you would be paying for a 2-3 star hotel in Merida.
So why VacationRental-Merida.com is doing it with Casa Merida? Is it a publicity stunt?
I have no idea what’s behind it, but why should you care? It is a steal and, for as long as it lasts, I’d say grab it.
Visit their site Vacation Rental Merida where you will find their Regular prices. You, however, will be paying half the price you see there. Yes, it is true…provided the sale is still going on and the dates are available.
