Me and my wife are planning on traveling to visit the site of Chichen Itza together on our honeymoon in a couple weeks. But we are weary due to the high amounts of murders we are hearing on the television and that they are target tourists, even in the yucatan. has anyone gone recently? how safe do you think it is, thanks…we would be staying ata hotel near the site

She was asking me the other day about what we could do for our anniversary, so booked a Jr. suite in Mexico (all inclusive) for 8 days 7 nights. Should I just tell her? I’ve purposely been giving her the impression that I ‘just don’t really care’ I told her, "maybe we’ll just go to dinner or something.’ Little does she know what she’s in for! It’s not for two more months, but the anticipation is killing me. Should I fess up and tell her? Or should I play the ‘don’t care’ husband character a little longer?

Women like to plan and shop for trips like this!
Also, I hope you are sure that she wants to go to Mexico – or you might get a different reaction from what you hoped for!
I personally would not like a surprise like this – but rather plan trip and destination together as a couple!

Yucatan Canote Life.
